About Me Page

Andrea is a slightly non-conventional, ambitious individual with a long history in customer service.  Simply put, she likes to help people accomplish things and has a unique eye for art and design.

Andrea currently works at home, and enjoys her two children, and a collection of animals.

Her experiences include (from oldest to most recent):

Bakery, Cake Decorating - A family owned shop was her home for 9 years.

Tech Support - Working with people over the phone to install software systems.

Business Printing and copying - Sales and custom services for several years.

Dog Training, Veterinary Technician - A few years working with furry friends.  The photo above was taken when I was working with Ark Veterinary Clinic.  I miss those days...

Digital Photography and Design - AZ Dog Art was born in 2003, combining her love for dogs with her love for photography.  "Nita" became my logo.

Marketing Materials - That's where the "creative genius" comes in. 

Original Art - "Birth Art" was "born" June 2008, when she was pregnant with her second child.

Andrea knows what makes dogs tick, and has extensive experience working with them.  Between her time spent as a dog trainer and vet tech, she has encountered many breeds and personalities.

Andrea approaches dogs as an alpha, but maintains a calm relaxed demeanor that dogs respond to.  She is in tune with their behavior, and body language, and knows what to do to let them be at ease.

Your dog will especially like Andrea when she gets right down there with them on the floor, or in the dirt!  From the tiniest teacup Chihuahua to the most massive of mastiffs, she enjoys them all.

There is a good chance Andrea will leave the photo session with a little extra fur and dust on her clothes, but it's all part of the fun!
